Observation Artifacts
0My Cases
Only Scientific Cases assigned to you as Director. ARI staff work, unassigned cases, and Institute-wide research stay in their own queues.
ARI Work Queue
Follow active research by subject, owner, stage, and latest deliverable, then see staff assignments, reported next steps, work awaiting review, feedback, and escalations.
Scientific Inbox
Recent platform activity and workflow-blocked cases, derived from the Event Store and Workflow Engine — never stored.
Mission Control
The Institute's operations center — what's happening, who's working, what changed, what needs you, and what the Institute's own automation is doing right now. Assembled by Atlas Presence from the same services the Institute page reads; nothing here is computed twice or invented.
A visual view of real record statuses, current staff capacity, and workflow outcomes. These charts summarize records Atlas has actually returned; unavailable sources are shown as unavailable rather than as zero.
Today's real throughput and automation performance, from the Institute's own presence snapshot.
The real risk signals behind the Institute Health score above — only what's actually active, nothing invented.
The same real, actionable items as the Institute page's own panel — act here and they leave the list for real.
Real, known cron cadence — never a guess — plus the workflow runs it actually produced.
The Institute's own timeline — Institutional Memory decisions merged with real automation events, most recent first.
Executive Experience
The Director's daily view — the real Executive Briefing, Current Priorities, Emerging Risks, Coordination Opportunities, and open Strategic Recommendations, curated from the exact same real data as the Institute page. Full operational detail — Departments, Escalations, Knowledge Evolution, Institutional Memory — stays on Institute; open it for anything not shown here.
"What does the Institute need from me today?" — generated from the real data in the panels below.
Atlas Dashboard
Scientific operations center for evidence, review, ontology, compilation, runtime, validation and research.
Reviewed Evidence
0Operational Inbox
0Evidence Pipeline Health
StableReview Center
A focused view of evidence that needs a review decision. Select an item to see what Atlas observed, what is missing, and the next safe action.
Needs Review
0Needs More Evidence
0Approved / Ready
0Flagged for Attention
0This list shows the current review state; decisions are recorded through the canonical Evidence Center.
Evidence Inspector
A focused inspection view for one selected evidence item. It opens from Review Center or search; it is not a separate queue.
Ontology
Live from the Atlas Ontology service — the platform's authoritative scientific vocabulary.
Look up a real turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) gene by symbol (Ensembl) — real Ensembl id, location, and external database cross-references. Returns nothing rather than guessing when the gene isn't found.
Knowledge Compiler
Live from GET /api/evidence/compiled — the transformation of scientific evidence into compiled knowledge.
Atlas Advisor
Continuous recommendations for population, breeding, evidence, validation, knowledge and projects.
Web Research
Real, live internet search for a research question — routed through the AI Gateway to a real search provider. A real list of titles, links, and snippets; nothing here writes a synthesized answer or invents a citation. Judge relevance yourself, then open a source to read it.
Resolve a real DOI to its real bibliographic record (CrossRef) — title, authors, journal, year. Returns nothing rather than guessing when the DOI isn't found.
Relationship Explorer
A local visualization of entities already loaded into this browser session — computed in Atlas Studio, not queried from a server. Node IDs here are local to this view. For live, authoritative relationships from the Atlas Knowledge Graph service, use Graph Explorer instead.
Specimen Repository
Scientific repository for reference specimens, validation specimens, farm birds, and future research collections.
Evidence Center
Forensic review workspace for submissions, relationships and validation context.
Connection
Sent as Authorization: Bearer on every review and segregation-count write below. Stored only in this browser's local storage.
This queues one Scientific Observation locally, then synchronizes it to ACS using the canonical observation ingestion path.
Submissions
Load pending submissions to begin.
Review Detail
Scientific Evidence Review
Evidence awaiting review — manually authored or imported from an external GeneticsPredictionSource (e.g. Porter). Load to begin.
Runtime Repository Publish
Compiles all active ScientificEvidence (via the existing Evidence Compiler) and publishes the result as the Atlas Runtime's active repository snapshot.
Platform Events
Real events recorded by MFG-Atlas as scientific evidence is acquired, reviewed, compiled and published.
Breeding Center
Plan a pair, assess its likely outcome, then record the hatch for Atlas Research Institute follow-up.
Start here. Choose the parents, run the projection, then use the outcome and impact panels to decide whether to proceed.
Use this only when lineage needs a closer look before choosing the pair.
Atlas ranks available pairings. Select up to two to compare compatibility and risk before making a plan.
Record an observed hatch outcome, then hand its follow-up to the Atlas Research Institute. The Work Coordinator receives the lifecycle-intake plan after you accept the backlog item; scientific evidence review and genetics assessment remain separately governed.
Select a male and female above, then record the observed outcome when the hatch is available.
Live reconciliation of recorded hatch outcomes, their ARI intake, and the Director’s backlog decision. A hatch is evidence, not a genetics conclusion.
Load the tracker to see hatch records submitted from the mobile app and Atlas.
Advanced genetics workbench
Specialist tools for deeper simulation, ontology, and population analysis. They do not replace the pair assessment above.
Real computed Mendelian probabilities from MFG-Atlas's genetics simulation engine, using Atlas-Ontology's live inheritance rule data — not a heuristic score. Recorded as work by the Institute's Data Scientist.
Cmd/Ctrl-click to select more than one.
Real network of the platform's genotype/allele/phenotype ontology, computed fresh from Atlas-Ontology on every run — not a heuristic layout. Recorded as work by the Institute's Data Scientist.
A Data Scientist view of the live genetics ontology. Band widths are counts of real stored relationships, showing genotype → allele → locus and inheritance-rule mappings to loci, genotypes, and phenotypes.
Real Wright's inbreeding coefficient, kinship, and effective population size computed from the Institute's real bird pedigree (sire/dam records) — not a heuristic. Recorded as work by the Institute's Population Geneticist.
Real allele-frequency diversity across the Institute's registered varieties, computed from real baseline genotype records — not per-bird diversity (no per-bird genotype data exists yet). Recorded as work by the Institute's Population Geneticist.
Tasks & Actions
Atlas-suggested actions with priority, status, ownership and quick navigation.
Notification Center
Smart notifications for validation, evidence, recommendations, knowledge and projects.
Invite Keys
Atlas registration is invite-only. Generate a single-use key and share it with the person you want to invite — they'll enter it on the Create Account form. Administrator-only.
Reference Photo Library
Labeled example photos of real turkey varieties, used to give photo-based identification real visual exemplars instead of only a text description. Owner-flock and rights-cleared photos are usable immediately; photos submitted from a breeder's corrected identification wait here for confirmation before they can influence identification.
Photos submitted from a breeder's corrected identification in the mobile app — confirm before they can be used for identification, or reject to discard.
Validation Dashboard
Two distinct things below: real counts computed from loaded evidence review outcomes (this console's own tally), and — as of Recovery Program Phase 3B — live scientific validation and benchmark results from Atlas Validation Service, the platform's authoritative Validation capability owner.

--Loading live validation results from Atlas Validation Service…
Knowledge Center
Live compiled scientific knowledge from the Atlas knowledge compiler (GET /api/evidence/compiled).
Population Dashboard
Genetic diversity, founder representation and drift indicators.
Runtime & System Health
Live from the Atlas Runtime and the Atlas Service Registry.
Mission Timeline
Universal scientific timeline from discovery through review, compilation and runtime publication.
Operational Timeline
The story of the Institute's day — real Institutional Memory decisions merged with real automation events, grouped by day, most recent first. Not an audit log: every entry is a human-readable sentence, not a raw event code.
Research Pipelines
Where real investigations and publications sit right now — real per-stage counts and real average time-in-stage from completed items, computed by Atlas Presence directly from Scientific Investigations and Scientific Publications. A stage's average duration is left blank until at least one real item has completed through it — never a guess.
Real distinct-staff involvement per stage — the one real workload signal available here.
Publications have no staff field platform-wide, so staff involvement isn't shown here.
Release Command Center
ARI's accountable path from research to a narrowly activated capability. Each gate is drawn from the live investigation record: this page never treats an approval, assignment, or draft as activated genetics behavior.
Legacy Migration
The Institute Adoption Program's real capability catalog — every platform capability's actual migration state, from "legacy" through to "verified" and "retired" — plus real rollback history. This is the permanent governance registry, not a duplicate of any Runtime's own local feature-flag bookkeeping.
Real, append-only evidence of every capability that moved backward — never a guess about why, always a recorded reason.
Scientific Timeline
Live event history for one entity, queried directly from the Atlas Event Store — nothing on this page is computed locally (Constitution Article VII).
Graph Explorer
Relationships, neighbors, shortest paths, and explainability — all queried live from the Atlas Knowledge Graph service. Node IDs here belong to that service and are distinct from the local Relationship Explorer view. No relationship computation exists in Atlas OS (Amendment 7).
Platform Health
Live from the Atlas Service Registry (GET /api/platform/registry) — built automatically from each service's own Service Manifest, not hardcoded here.
Institute
The Atlas Research Institute's live operating picture — real briefings, priorities, risks, and coordination across every Institute service. The shared task hot lane evaluates eligible work every minute; broader Institute scans run separately. "Run Autonomous Cycle" runs the full catch-up cycle now, on demand.
Real spend and a real monthly USD cap on every AI-assisted capability call the Institute makes through the AI Gateway. A call that would push spend past the cap is blocked outright, never silently allowed through.
Every open decision across the Institute, in one place — strategic recommendations, Knowledge Evolution proposals, Institute Intelligence recommendations, and open escalations. Acting here is identical to acting in that item's own section below; nothing here decides anything itself.
Real cross-record analysis of the Institute's own accumulated data — which investigations/publications have real child records yet, and how real Institutional Memory decisions and disagreements group — computed live, never a fabricated correlation. Recorded as the Data Scientist's real work.
The recommended path through a working day, top to bottom: Morning Review (read the Executive Briefing and Institute Health below) → Priority Approval (Pending Reviews — acknowledge, dismiss, or route each strategic recommendation) → Research Execution (Run Daily Cycle to refresh briefing, priorities, and evolution detection; monitor Active Investigations and the Live Activity Feed) → Publication Review (Publication Queue) → Knowledge Review (Knowledge Evolution Queue — approve or reject each proposal) → End-of-Day Summary (re-check Institute Health and Recent Decisions before signing off). Every step below stays independently auditable — nothing here changes what an action does, only the order it's suggested in.
Real per-researcher activity — assigned/active work, elapsed time, and blocked state — from Atlas Presence. Click a researcher for their real-time context, operational summary, and to ask them a question.
Real researcher escalations (GET /escalations) — raised automatically by the autonomous execution cycle for stalled work, or manually by a researcher. Open escalations require executive attention; escalation itself is never auto-resolved.
The Institute's permanent record — every archived decision, disagreement, and outcome the Institute has recorded, queried live from Atlas Institutional Memory. Nothing here is ever edited or deleted; corrections are recorded as new entries that reference what they correct.
The Institute evaluating its own operational effectiveness — real, evidence-backed metrics computed from current Institute data, deterministic insights detected from real trends, and advisory-only improvement recommendations. Never invents new science; never automatically implements an organizational change. Also runs automatically every 6 hours via Institute Intelligence's own Cloudflare Cron Trigger.
Deterministic bottleneck/trend detection over real recent metric history — see each insight's cited evidence.
Advisory only — approving here records an executive decision (archived to Institutional Memory); it never carries the change out. Record a real change afterward once you've made it elsewhere.
Writing Desk
Review the Institute Writer’s current manuscripts, their approved evidence basis, and publications waiting for evidence.
Staff Workboard
A live operational view of what each Institute staff member is assigned, has recorded, and needs attention. It shows only attributable Atlas records—an update gap means no update was recorded, not that no work happened.
One concise operational queue: active ARI work, items awaiting review, explicit blocks, and real governance decisions. Routine staff routing stays out of the Director queue.
Open escalations, work awaiting review, and active assignments with no recent recorded update. Use a researcher workspace to inspect or reassign work.
Coordinator plans identify a qualified next owner. Approving here records your Director assignment; it does not approve a scientific conclusion or publish genetics behavior.
Direct requests and improvement ideas from staff. Your response becomes the permanent Director decision record.
Institute Organization
The Institute's real reporting structure — every department's purpose and full staff roster, with each researcher's real current workload and blocked state, from Atlas Presence. Not an activity feed (see Institute's Department Activity for that) — this is who works where, and how loaded they are right now.
Researcher Workspaces
Every AI researcher role, grounded entirely in real staff records — real assignments, real work products, real escalations. A researcher with no real work shows plainly as having none; nothing here is invented.
Every active researcher, grouped by department. Assignment and work-product counts are real counts from Atlas-Research-Staff — not a computed "busy score." Click a researcher to open their workspace.
A live map of recorded staff-to-staff relationships: shared active assignments, staff requests, and review handoffs. Every line is traceable to Atlas-Research-Staff records; it does not infer collaboration, rank people, or make scientific conclusions.
Loading staff interactions…
Move active work only to an active colleague in the same department who is authorized for the required output. The Director’s decision is audited; the original assignment is preserved.
Analytics
Inference volume, evidence growth, validation trends and model performance.
Build a chart from Atlas evidence currently loaded in this session. Every value is computed from real evidence records; empty or unknown values remain visible instead of being inferred.
Choose a view, then build a chart.
Project Workspace
Organize specimens, evidence, validation and goals into outcomes-oriented projects.
Report Generator
Generate export-ready summaries for population, birds, projects, validation and breeding.
Evidence-to-Insight Pipeline
Reference diagram of the pipeline stages every piece of evidence conceptually passes through — a fixed sequence, not an editable workflow.
Settings
Atlas OS preferences, operator session, and platform-wide configuration.
A short tour of what Atlas OS is and how it's organized — the same one shown automatically the first time this browser opened it.
The same real operator session used for Institute and Executive Experience write actions — signing in or out here applies everywhere.
Controls how often ARI's autonomous work cycle runs. Test mode returns to the normal 10-minute cadence automatically when its timer ends.
Provider credentials, capability routing, and usage are configured in the AI Control Center — the only part of Atlas OS that may hold or display AI provider connection state. No Institute service talks to an AI provider directly.
Core connection and review credentials are managed in the Evidence Center Connection panel to preserve current review workflows.
The five real operator roles enforced by every Institute service. This is a reference table, not a live entitlements check — see Account & Session above for your current signed-in role.
AI Control Center
The only part of Atlas OS that talks to an external AI provider. No Institute service may communicate directly with OpenAI or any future provider — every AI-assisted capability platform-wide is routed through here. No plaintext key ever appears in this UI, in logs, or in any API response — only a masked hint like "sk-...4f2a" once a credential is set. Setting or rotating a credential requires an administrator; routing a capability requires an administrator or director.
Adding or configuring a provider needs a real administrator or director account signed in — this is a separate thing from a provider's own API key below. The same session used everywhere else in Atlas OS; signing in here applies everywhere.
Leave the API key blank to add the provider unconfigured — you can set or rotate its credential later from its card above.
Every AI-assisted capability platform-wide, and which provider (if any) it's currently routed to. A capability with no route stays honestly "not configured" everywhere it's used — nothing is fabricated to fill the gap.
